Color Theory of Magic

It has long been known that certain colors show affinity to specific schools of magic. Using these associated colors with the proper spells results in more stable spellcraft. Where as using an non associated color introduces instability. The effects of associated or non associated colors are not terribly strong and practiced spellcasters tend to ignore them. The main use of Color Theory is in helping apprentices learn to hold together a spell structure without it collapsing.
